Lawley Park Village recently welcomed the Premier of Western Australia, Hon. Roger Cook MLA, together with the State Member for Mount Lawley, Frank Paolino MLA, for a special and highly anticipated afternoon of conversation with residents that was organised by Masonic Care WA village management staff.
Residents at Lawley Park Village, joined by residents from Ashlar Glen, were provided with the opportunity to raise local matters and hear directly from their State representatives in an open and relaxed setting.

The event was also attended by senior personnel of Masonic Care WA; Marie-Louise MacDonald (CEO), Perter Kirwan (Chairman, Board of Masonic Care WA), Nadia Speca (Chief Financial Officer) and Diana Smith (Executive Manager Accommodation Services).
During the session, both guests addressed residents and spoke about the role of community input in shaping local priorities and future planning across the State.
Residents then took part in a question-and-answer session, raising topics such as local roads, infrastructure and services. One resident also asked a more personal question of the Premier and Mr Paolino, including what they considered to be their greatest achievements beyond their political roles.

Following the formal discussion, the Premier Cook and Mr Paolino spent time speaking individually with residents and staff.
The afternoon concluded with light refreshments and afternoon tea, providing a welcoming opportunity for continued conversation.
Special thanks to the Residents’ Committee and Village Manager Arlene Wilson for hosting the event and ensuring everything ran smoothly for residents and guests at Lawley Park Village. It was a positive and uplifting visit for residents and staff across the two villages and a proud moment for the Masonic Care WA community.
