13 August 2019 was a memorable day for Masonic Care WA with the erection of the sign for Stage 1 of a new residential aged care complex in Middle Swan. This stage includes a state-of-the-art, 124-bed aged care facility with a focus on the specific needs of dementia residents which is urgently needed in the Middle Swan area. The complex will also house a number of services including a café, hair salon and health care suite. It is anticipated that up to 200 jobs will be created once the aged care facility is completed.

The development is now in the final stages of receiving building approval and tenders aimed at commencing the first stage of a three-part development before the end of 2019. The complex is the largest development project Masonic Care has undertaken, with future development stages set to include retirement living and rental housing facilities.
